Stay True – tattoo art exhibition

Founded and curated by YOGI XIII of True Black Tattooing, Dublin, this exhibition showcases work by a talented and diverse group of tattooers from across the globe.

The tattoo artists have each been given a blank skateboard, with free reign to customise the deck as they wish, resulting in a unique and diverse collection of art.

During 2017, the ever-growing collection of skateboards were exhibited across Ireland, and we are excited to present them in England at The Tattoo Collective this March.

In excess of 100 skateboards will have been completed by summer, after which the boards will be auctioned off for a suicide awareness charity at an event in London.

This exhibition is designed to showcase tattooers alongside their peers from all over the world; artists currently involved hail from America, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, England, Ireland, Lithuania, Northern Ireland and Portugal.

For the latest phase of the exhibition in England, tattoo artists contributing to the project are from studios including 1770 Tattoo, Frith Street, Seven Doors, Parliament Tattoo, Sang Bleu, Lowrider Tattoo, The Blue Tattoo and many more.

With such a diverse array of disciplines and concepts presented by each of the artists involved, this exhibition caters to lovers of every tattoo style.
