Gretsch LIVE & Guitar Art Exhibition
The Tattoo Collective are proud to partner with Gretsch for an exclusive guitar art exhibition and awesome live music performances, March 17th-18th at The Old Truman Brewery.
Guitar Art Exhibition
Exhibiting artists include:
Nikole Lowe (Good Times Tattoo)
Kali (Never Say Die)
Joe Carpenter (Five Keys Tattoo)
Justin Burnout (Ghost House Collective)
Elliott Wells (On the road)
In addition to our amazing art exhibition, we are very excited to present live guitar performances from 3 of the UK’s finest resonator guitar players.
John Fairhurst will headline Saturday evening, with his masterful blues guitar style. Touted as being one of the top 3 resonator guitar players worldwide (Acoustic Guitar Magazine USA) John Fairhurst is ‘possibly the finest guitarist you will ever see… brilliant songwriting and a gravel-swilled belter of a voice’ (BBC)
Rodney Brannigan, famed for playing two guitars at once, is set to take the stage on Saturday afternoon. Brannigan is a multi-instrumentalist with a rich and soulful voice often compared to Jeff Buckley, playing an original blend of progressive folk, rock, flamenco, classic, bluegrass and jazz styles.
John Crampton will perform on Sunday afternoon, with his foot-stomping blues and bluegrass. ‘John is a complete orchestra of sound. Voice, acoustic, national steel, pick, slide, banjo, harp… he picks you up, shakes you warmly by the throat and throws you around the room while you try and hang on to your seat.’ (Blues Man in the Hat)
We can’t wait to introduce these fantastic acts to The Tattoo Collective along with our unique guitar art exhibition; this is not to be missed.
