But that’s not all; one lucky visitor will walk away with a stunning guitar adorned with our poster artwork by Sam Ford! Our charity raffle winner will be announced on Sunday evening, with all proceeds going to The Teenager Cancer Trust.

Five of our attending tattoo artists will be presenting their own artworks in our T4 gallery area this weekend; Aimee Cornwell, Joe Spaven, Luca Ortis, Tom Strom and Matthew James will each be displaying their work. This is an exciting chance to see the tattooer’s art in a variety of different mediums – from Joe Spaven’s ‘100 paintings’ series of traditional Japanese imagery, to Matthew James’ large-scale surrealistic charcoal works. Don’t miss it.

Overlap‘ is a project born from an idea by Italian tattoo artist Fabio Gargiulo. The objective of this project is to fuse the art of different tattooists, each with its own personality and style, into one piece of art. The result is a human shape in real dimension, divided in five pieces (arms, legs and torso) all created by different artists. This project helps to fuse together different artists with a variety of styles and techniques. It’s not a competition, but a collaboration of shared artistry.

ENTERTAINMENT HIGHLIGHTS

The Tattoo Collective are very excited to present the 2018 Tattoo Competition. Our expert panel of judges from the tattoo community will decide which lucky artists and customers take home our beautiful custom-made prizes, handcrafted by El Rana in Italy. Touted as being one of the top 3 resonator guitar players worldwide (Acoustic Guitar Magazine USA) John Fairhurst is ‘possibly the finest guitarist you will ever see… brilliant songwriting and a gravel-swilled belter of a voice’ (BBC)
