New for 2018, Claudia De Sabe has released an inspiring new book named ‘Drawings of an Autumn Garden’. The book is crafted in an unusual concertina format, which folds to reveal two beautiful and richly detailed paintings. The Tattoo Collective are very proud to exhibit these impressive works for the first time.
Stylistically, tattooer and fine artist Dario Grasso is known for his use of unconventional mediums and re-imaginings of established forms from across art history. Grasso has been based in England since 2017, working as a multimedia artist who embraces media from sculpture to tattoos. The Tattoo Collective are proud to exhibit Dario’s latest series of work, entitled ‘Uncomfortable Guest’.
This weekend, London-based fine artist Chris Guest will be displaying his latest works at The Tattoo Collective, along with a painting workshop on Saturday 17th March from 11-3pm – a unique chance for visitors to view the artwork coming to life.
‘Kisolola’ is the brainchild of Gina McQuen, a fine artist specialising in painting on leather. Gina is inspired by nature and ‘Irezumi’, the art of traditional Japanese tattoo. Many of her richly detailed works borrow themes from Japanese tattooing, from tigers, dragons and skeletal spectres to beautiful peonies and chrysanthemums. See Gina’s work in our T3 gallery area.
The Tattoo Collective are very excited to present the 2018 Tattoo Competition. Our expert panel of judges from the tattoo community will decide which lucky artists and customers take home our beautiful custom-made prizes, handcrafted by El Rana in Italy. This year we are lucky to be joined by Grace Neutral, George Bone and Joe Spaven on the judging panel.
With over 40 years experience between them, top UK barbers Paul Hewitt and Brad Cowan will be offering traditional services and timeless cuts at their pop-up barbershop, 17th-18th March at The Old Truman Brewery. The pop-up barbershop will be situated in room T2 near the bar, food and Main Stage areas.
Deno’s work is highly distinctive; his unique style is inspired by both graffiti and abstract expressionism. Recurring themes throughout his portfolio make Deno’s work instantly recognisable, with his bold use of graphic shapes, colour and form. The Tattoo Collective are thrilled to welcome Deno back to The Old Truman Brewery this weekend.
